The Open-Source Model Seed Project
World Town Guide is built on an open-source project called the WTG Model Seed. The idea is simple: instead of scraping the web and hoping for the best, every city page starts from a city intelligence seed — a structured, source-cited knowledge object that can be generated by anyone, for any settlement on earth.
A model seed contains verified facts, local sources with confidence scores, geographic and cultural context, public contributions, and semantic structure that downstream AI systems can use directly. It is versioned, mergeable, and built to be trusted — not a summary, a grounded intelligence packet.
The seed generator is free and open-source. Fork it, run it, generate seeds for your own cities. The WTG platform — domain authority, publishing infrastructure, quality gates, multilingual support, and global indexing — is what you pay for when you want your seeds published at scale.
